Ysgol Llanilar is a medium-sized primary school of about 110 students, and is 3 miles south-east of Aberystwyth, located in the village of Llanilar. It is a couple of hundred metres to the north from the restored village pond, the Lôn Cambria cycle track and the glorious River Ystwyth.
The school received a Small Grant from Ceredigion Nature Partnership to plant a wildlife forest garden in the winter of 2025/26, between their existing vegetable garden and new polytunnel.
